Solar sludge drying plant for the WWTP in Kalamata, prefecture of Messenia

The project includes the construction of four (4) on-site solar dryers of WWTP Kalamata.

The feeding will be done automatically with a conveyor screw system, while the removal of the dried sludge will also be done automatically, through a conveyor screw system outside the dryer.

For the solar drying of the sludge of WWTP Kalamata, there will be also constructed a dewatered sludge receiving unit, solar dryers, a final product disposal unit, as well as service building.
